From Saturday, June 8, 2019 to Sunday, September 29, 2019, the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG), located in the Bronx, New York City, is presenting the show Brazilian Modern: The Living Art of Roberto Burle Marx, bringing together movement, arts, dance, business and of course, its magnificent landscape.

No better place to show Burle Marx (1909–94) exhibition, who is known as a visionary in the world of  preservation and creativity, a force of nature from Brazil—through his bold landscapes, vibrant art, and passionate commitment to plant conservation.

His powerful modernist vision produced thousands of gardens and landscapes.

Who doesn’t know the wavy walkways of Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro?

During the time of the exhibition, many events is happening, as the one from http://www.nglccny.org/ , at the Pine Tree cafe, the World Pride Night.

Outside the café, and later through the NYBG,  the contagious music and performance of the band “Fogo Azul”, and its “maestro”, Stacy Kivacs – brought presents to dance and play.

When the “parade”, finished another event started, in front of the Conservatory, where the party continued with more caipirinhas, samba dancing classes, and shows, with music from Brazilian artists and DJs.

A perfect Pride afternoon/evening in NYC Pride’s month.

Coney Island offers an ideal summer respite from the hectic and steamy city.  With nearly 3 miles of sandy beaches, Coney Island’s sunny skies and rolling waves make for the perfect getaway.  If being active at the beach is more your idea of fun than just catching some rays, Coney Island also offers exciting recreation opportunities.  With courts for beach volleyball, handball, and basketball as well as playgrounds and amusement rides, the beach and boardwalk can provide hours of entertainment.

For information on the Seaside Summer Concerts visit http://www.brooklynconcerts.com/seaside.html.

Sheepshead Bay is a bay separating the mainland of Brooklyn, New York City, from the eastern portion of Coney Island. The mouth of the bay is about 1.0 mile (1.6 km) southwest of Marine Park, Brooklyn.

Coney Island is well known as the site of amusement parks and a seaside resort. In recent years, the area has seen the opening of MCU Park stadium which has become home to the Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball team, as well as the New York Cosmos professional soccer club. In addition, Coney Island has opened a new amusement park among several adjacent ones.

Walking at Central Park During the Winter

Central Park, New York City.

At the heart of Manhattan, its lung and playground, place for loving and for crying, for long and relaxing walks or for run from the bikes…for a photographer, it’s a playground of illusions, where I go again and again , and never felt bored or at the end of my creativity.

Endless possibilities, Central Park is the “plaza” where artists – not only photographers, but writers, painters, singers, music players, performers and so many more – can easily put to work their imagination…
